Black is Good~

Guess what is this...............

Its a KIWI BERRY~ very special right. i also never see this before.

We went Mediya Supermarket today and Ah Ba saw this.
Kiwi Berry from New Zealand.
When you half it, its just like Kiwi. I believe thats how it got its name.

Super sweet and you can pop it like grapes.

I read from the Internet and they say that this kind of fruit is called Super Fruit, because it has alot of different types of vitamins and is an anti-oxident fruit.

I dont mind eating this everyday!

We saw Black Squid Ink Pasta Sauce too...

Really ichiban lo.
The sauce really very powerful
Just a bit, and it makes the whole lot of pasta very "orh lu lu"

My first time eating, I think not too bad leh.

Got this very unique special taste.

But dont say I never remind you, if you are out on a date, please dont eat this.

This sauce will stain your lips as though you kena poison and it will stain the gaps in between your teeth and you will look like " Liang po po"

Better to eat it at home.

The Line Buffet at Shangri-La

Thanks to Limei for informing us that The Line Buffet is having a promotion (40% discount!) this month as they are celebrating their birthday.

We managed to book a table for 7.
It was actually meant to celebrate that we had survived the ordeal (FYP), but then not all turned up.
It ended up with 5 fairies + 2 warriors.

There was a theme for the whole area/ restaurant.
Its all in orange. Maybe we should wear orange next time to blend in.

We had cocktails and mocktails and lots of food!
There is a wide variety of food and the standard is not too bad.

I enjoyed most of the food there, especially the oysters and "indian" food.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful and even joke with us even though they seem very busy.
The waiters were always ready to collect our dirty plates and serve us with a smile, unlike the one at Carousel.

Overall, its good!!

We had fun teasing Patricia again.
But this "flute" look-alike thing biscuit is really nice.

Patricia is talented for giving black face. HAHA

I like this photo leh, the colour so nice and vibrant + 2 pretty babes!

Good colour coordination?
Ladies in Black~

FYP is finally over.

I am grateful that FYP is finally over.
Though i did not contribute as much as Wan Wei, I am still glad that we managed to cross that finishing line.

FYP has bonded us together.
Late night chats and discussions on MSN, searching for info, eating Qing Ning's mother 爱心炒饭 and 炸云吞, stressful meet-ups with our dear Prof Chang, sleeping at 5am and all.

Its like a student thing you know. I may sound that I am complaining, but I do enjoy some of these when I look back now.

FYP is always "fun" in a way.
I hope I can jot this down and remember forever.

Food!!

Jacintha, Fiona and Hui came over to my house the other day for dinner.
We wanted to meet at JP initially but I changed my mind and decided to cook for them instead!

Wanted to cook Pasta in the first place, but decided otherwise.
Pasta so easy, any Tom, Dick and Harry can cook. haha~
not challenging at all.

My menu for the day is:
  • Baked Black Pepper Chicken
  • Wanton Soup
  • Stir fry broccoli with carrot and mushroom
  • Calamari
The food tasted as good as it seems.
Everyone was happy and we had Magnum Ice Cream for desserts!

Sarah upon hearing that I will be cooking says that she wanted to try my cooking too, so I met her the next day and prepared brunch.

Wanton Soup

Sausage Puff

Black Pepper Shepherd's Pie.

Sarah, so now you can cook for Alvin.
I think he will cry after eating.
too gan dong, not not nice hor.
