Shopping and F1

Went Marina Sq today to shop for Ah Ba's formal wear.
He needs a set desperately because he has none!
He needs them for presentation and recruitment talk, and definitely for interview next time.

We went Zara, and managed to get a pretty nice set.
White top, metallic black with very mini dots tie, pine strips pants, brown shoes and a pair of matching brown belt.

I love his shoes, I chose that for him.
I think black shoes are too boring and dull. Brown will be nice!
He loves it too, he say vintage brown he likes. HAHA

Actual colour is slightly lighter.

Managed to settle everything today.
Got everything measured and sent for altering, collecting it next week.

Marina Sq having this promo. For every $100 spent, they will reward customers with a $10 Marina voucher.

We managed to get 2, because only 2 of us there. 1 person can only redeem 1 voucher.
Else i think we can redeem more.

Used the $20 voucher to eat dinner.
We had Waraku!!

Haven been there for a long time.

Just outside Waraku, we can see the racing pit.
Can hear the car vroom-ing. Test drive. Testing the site and getting themselves warm up.
So many people are in town. Really scary.
The MRT station almost exploded.
Luckily we got out of that place early. Cant imagine how are we going to squeeze the train after the race.

1 for 1 Buffet Lunch @ Royal Plaza Hotel!

Yesterday we went for the much awaited for 1 for 1 buffet at Royal Plaza Hotel.

Only $21.50!!!! Very worth it can!!

Quite alot of selection, i think there are about 30-40 different varieties.
sashimi, seafood, chinese food, western food, indian food and not to forget the all time favourite desserts~

Food is not fantastic, but still ok~

Had a great time chit chatting, laughing and eating for the 2.5 hours.

Girls, we should more of this next time ok!!!

The buffet starts at 12pm, but we were there at around 11.45am becuase all were fully booked and we wanted to try our luck by walking in.

After the buffet, we were lazing around at the hotel lobby~

They say my eyes open until so big and they were not very happy about it.

So they started the big eye movement.

Limei not very happy because even though she wore her Hamtaro contact lens, she wasnt in the big eye movement.

Holidays!!

Its the recess week again.
Nothing to be happy about, because it just means catching up with my school work.

Thinking about Advance Micro and Behavioural Econs gives me headache.
Nevertheless, I will be meeting my fairies for buffet lunch next Tue at Park Royal Hotel.

Limei said that the reviews were not bad for their lunch and their menu looks really tempting.
But Qing Ning says that its so-so only.
Cant wait to go try it out.


Anyway, I believe NTU-ers definitely know about The Palette Cafe @ North Spine.
Heard some people saying that the food is not worth trying.
I decided to go try for myself how bad it is.

I personally feel that those people are BULL SHITTING.
Its not too bad!
Prices are reasonable and serving is just nice.
I feel that its so much better than Quad

I had Mariana Pasta. Look at the portion, its so big. And its only $4.80.
Still got air con some more. Very reasonable.

Sarah has Mariana Baked Rice. She says that its not too bad too.
What you pay is what you get. Considering that its $4.80, i think its not too bad.

We shared Wedges. Abit salty though, still acceptable.

We will go back to try their set lunch.

p.s. I am so touched because Davina just called me from BKK to ask me what dress I want. She cant find the one that i told her to buy. Long distance call lehhhh~~

Nice chinese food at Chinatown!

Just the other day, we went food hunting again.

We planned to go Taka for mooncake tasting and before that, Limei managed to talk us into trying this Chinese restaurant that serves very nice dumplings (jiao zi).

We cabbed down to that place at Neil Road thinking that there shouldn't be a Q because of the weird timing.

We were wrong, there was a long Q waiting outside and the restaurant was packed with quite alot of tourist.

Of course, given our bubbly personality, we didnt mind waiting.
While waiting, of course, we did what we do best--- that is taking photos.

I cant help but to share this with everyone.
I believe Davina has the potential. seriously *stamp heart*

I want to take over Sarah to be the 最会扭腰的 fairy. HAHA

I am amazed at how much Limei can order without looking at the menu.

Everyone was damn full after rounds of laughter and food.
We cant finish the food therefore decided to play "zhong ji mi ma".
There were 3 slices of豆沙饼 and 2 slices of 葱油饼, everyone is eyeing on the 豆沙饼, especially Davina and Limei.

Davina super sian because we kept losing and finishing her 豆沙饼 . (for once, its a joy to lose)

Then this time round, Limei lost!
She was so freaking happy, I first time see people lose until so happy.

Limei: YES! *imagine with action* I can eat the 豆沙饼
US: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, you are supposed to eat the 葱油饼 as stated before the game starts.

Her expression damn funny! Priceless.


After lunch, we went take for mooncake testing.
