hottest topic in school

the topic on whether to have triple sharing rooms in NTU has been the hottest topic in school this semester.
The Student Affairs Office (SAO) proposed that they might convert some of the double sharing rooms into triple sharing.
This move has sparked alot of debate from the student population.
My friend spotted this clip on youtube and its damn funny!!!!!
must watch.

personally i think triple sharing is really not a very good idea. the room is already very cramp and they still want to squeeze more people in. very inconsiderate.
i think SAO should look into building more rooms instead of suggesting lame ideas.

*food*.................... once again

Its back to basic, we are on the topic of food again.

Do you know that there is a restaurant thats quite popular in Raffles City called Aeris?
Its just right opposite The Soup Spoon. The restaurant is smacked right in the middle of the walkway.

Ambiance of the restaurant is good, dim lighting and comfortable seats.

One disadvantage: since its right in the middle of the walkway, ALL the people who walk past can see what you are eating and will be kinda of disturbing when they keep looking in to check out what you are eating -_-'".

We ordered Fish 'n' Chips and Cajun Grilled Chicken.

His Fish 'n' Chips seem to be the most popular dish in the restaurant. I see alot of people ordering that and its a chef's recommendation item on the menu.
verdict: Its not as good as how i thought it to be. The batter was nice, it has a very special kind of crispy/hollow feeling (think goreng pisang), but the fish was not too fantastic. It crumbles very easily, does that show that the fish is not fresh?
Fries were very ordinary too, like those you can get from any western food stall in kopitiams

My Cajun Grilled Chicken. The chicken was exceptionally nice. Juicy and tender, the accompanying sauce (sweet n sour sauce) goes very well with the chicken. I think its much better than the fish. I love the wedges too!!!

cant wait to eat

ah ba~~~~~

********************************************************************************

Last Sunday I went to have dinner at a newly opened restaurant at Raffles City.
Shokudo Japanese Food Bazaar. Its a Marche style Japanese restaurant that sells western-japanese fusion food.
Dont be intimidated by the length of the Q, it moves quite fast.
The restaurant is quite big and has about more than 10 stalls selling different kind of Jap food.
From Japaneses egg omelette, to Japanese pizza/pastas to traditional shabu shabu and of course, delicious deserts.

This card will be given to you when you enter. It works exactly like Marche.

random pics

This stall has 1 of the longest Q in the restaurant. Whats so special with the egg omelette anyway? ITS VERY SPECIAL.

The omelette has several layers and its very soft and springy. It goes very well with the accompanying Jap sauce and mayonnaise. The egg is cooked layer by layer, you pay for the chef's effort.

The Egg! Personally i prefer the plain ones compared to those with fillings.

Japanese Pizza. interesting. I didnt have this. Too full.

Mocha Green Tea. SUPER NICE!!!! MUST TRY!!!!!! Its not the ordinary Pokka Green Tea, this is so much thicker and richer.

Bamboo Eel Rice. Not very big serving, but it tasted not too bad. Can taste the bamboo taste in the rice.

Grilled Makeral (i dont know how to spell) and beef skew. The fish is fantastic too. BBQ just to perfection, not too dry.
The beef skew was tender and juicy, well done chefs!

Grilled squid. A little too overcooked. Kind of chewy and difficult to swallow, but the sauce was nice.

Lastly, the dessert! Red Bean with Mochi. The red bean was a little too sweet, but the mochi was nice! Chewy but not sticky, it taste so much better than our local muah chee.

A satisfied customer. Will be back for more food.

Wanted to give Qn a surprise. Its went as planned. Berrie good~

Oreo Cheese Cake from Coffee Club Express.
Personally i think bday must have bday cake, else it wont be like a bday at all. So the cake is very impt!

A bouquet of lilies that surprised her and make her day. (chey~ so thick skin to say that)

thats the bday girl, looking so contented with her flowers and cake.
Life's Simple Pleasure~~

Apparently, Sarah is not very enthu abt Qn's bday. She keeps lying around. HAHAHA (Sarah is in red)

See, after lying around, she wipe her face. She doesnt seem very willing to celebrate with Qn.
Qn felt so awkward, look at her expression.

truckload of activites-part3

Its truckload of activites part3 today.

We just had our 1 week break which ended last week. Of course must sieze the opportunity to sing K right.

We went to this ktv at bugis, called TopOne and the rate is super attractive. Can sing from 11am
to 7pm @$16 nett with free flow of drinks!!! N their mike has this hygiene cover to cover the top of the mike, quite new concept in Singapore. In addition, they have different lighting effects which you can adjust. From rock to soothing, its all available.
I think its quite similar to the one Limei has described in her blog. Mayb they are from the same parent company, coz i suspect Topone is owned by a chee-na boss. All the waiters there are frm China.

The package is very worth it. Must call more people go then fun, if u go as a couple, i suggest u better bring 批琶膏.

We think that this table looks like some ice bar in harbin. Its the lighting effect.

See the mike, they have the yellow and red hygiene cover. We call them 小黄梨 and 小藩茄

ah wan look very pretty that night. Very feminine.

disturb, still say i like to take photo.Sarah also like it as much as me.

pls forgive us. we were acting in some mtv

see, wan wan is ITOW-ing again.
