Merry X'mas!!

We had a small little gathering at Blu Jaz Cafe situated in Bali Lane.

I would highly recommend this place to people looking for a cheap chill out place.
Their food is reasonably priced and they have live band in their restaurant.
Blu Jaz has 3 storeys.

The 1st storey is a restaurant cum chill out place. They have both indoor and outdoor siting. You will be entertained by their live band.

The 2nd storey is purely a chill out place whereby there is a bar counter and its air conditioned only. You can order various kinds of beer, house pours, draft beer and cocktail. Of course, there are finger food as well.

The 3rd storey as i heard from Sarah that its a dance floor. I didn't manage to go up the other day as its closed. So, no comments on that.


Everybody has been so busy with their own stuff during the holidays that meeting up all other 6 of them was difficult. The small little gathering was good enough.

As usual, we were busy cam whoring away while waiting for Wan wei and the food.

J. Co Donuts

I tried a couple of J.Co Donuts just now.
My colleagues brought it back from Batam.

It was DELICIOUS. I think it is so much better than Donut Factory.
The dough part was heavier and the one i had was White Chocolate with Coffee Bits.

Yes, I ate a coffee donut. The coffee taste was very light, so i am still able to tolerate it.
Amazingly, it doesnt have the coffee after taste, something that i like.

I am so loving J Co Donuts.

Visited their web site, it says that it will be coming over to Spore soon!!!!!!

Cant wait to eat it again. *yummmmmmmy*

"Bo Bei Zhao" Seafood In JB!

I borrowed this slang from Alvin.
Who the hell knows what does bo bei zhao means?
He is so beng-ish, really bo bei zhao aka bbz.

We were supposed to meet 3.30pm at Kranji and then go in together. But then, our dear Alvin arrived at 4.15pm!!! really bbz -_-'"

The 1st thing we did when we reached JB City Sq was to eat! We skipped lunch so that we can feast in Malaysia. The food was never disappointing, the price, even lagi best!

Sarah and I shared Apple Crumble Cheese Cake and Strawberry Cheese Cake at Secret Recipe.
Penny had Auntie Anne's Sour Cream Pretzels.
Alvin still bbz-ing away and refused to eat. He wants to leave his stomach empty so that he can eat more at night. See, really bbz!

We spent half a day at City Sq shopping. YES! S-H-O-P-P-I-N-G!!!
Rest assure, we didnt buy dragon print tees nor did we buy mat-look-alike slippers.
Our taste still not that bbz yet.

We saw something fascinating over at Adidas.
Be prepared, this is really BBZ! I am not kidding!!

No, I am not trying to show you how muscular Sarah is. Look at the xu-xu of the jacket. Really bbz. Like some overgrown armpit hair. Sarah, its time to go for some 永 久 脱 毛 treatment. So unglam. *cant stop laughing!*

"The gym is over there". Dont play play hor, this overgrown armpit hair jacket is damn expensive! Its RM999 before discount. RM499 after discount. Who will want this unglam jacket. You tell me???? they are really bbz. sigh

ok, we got to go (correct, wan wei?). Time to go shave.

Dinner was superb! We went to this roadside stall near New York Hotel for our bbz zhi char dinner.
You wont believe how much we ate. Its really bbz. I almost fainted when I saw the amount of food on our table.
The photo doesnt do justice to the delicious food. Blame it on my lousy 2 mega pixel hp.

I really 佩服 Alvin for ordering so much food. He is really the most bbz person I have ever met.

We had:
1) BBQ Stingray (this is really bbz. VERY NICE and cheap!!!!!!!!! he ordered 2 by the way)
2) Sambal Kangkong
3) Cereal Prawn
4)Hot Plate Deer Meat
5)Hot Plat Toufu
6)Salted Egg Fried Sotong (this is also very bbz. But not as bbz as the stingray)
7)La-la (the shell thing)

Call us king. The 4 of us managed to finish all of these. And the total bill was only around RM 111!!!!! SO CHEAP. really BBZ (to the power of 1000).


And the best thing is, Alvin foot the bill. Its on him.
Thanks ah Mr BBZ. Next time our turn to treat you ok?

Waraku Pasta

Its time to relax after the exams!!!!

It has been some time since I went out for dinner with my "handsome ah ba".

I always wanted to try Waraku. Davina and all keep saying that its very nice, especially the cream udon something.

The Menu

My Cream Cheese Scallop Udon. Its very nice. The sauce is just nice. Not too thick or watery. It taste abit like cream of xx soup. The kind whereby you can drink it on its own, it doesnt taste like pasta sauce. On the other hand, the Udon is abit on the harder side. Very chewy, but I wont mind trying it again~



Squid and Roe Cold Cream Udon. This dish is served cold. Very unique. Can never expect a creamy dish to be served cold. Its a pleasant surprise. The noodles doesnt come about as too cold or hard, its cooked just to perfection. And the squid is uber nice. Not too tough.



Fish Roe. Its supposed to be 4 or 5 pieces. But we gobbled down as soon as its served. It looks abit pathetic to me at first. It looks so big on the menu but ended up so small. Looks like 3/4 size of a Taiwan Sausage. But the taste is great! Hot on the outside, warm on the inside.


I am trying to show how big the bowl is. Like face basin. Can add hot water and steam my face, do facial.

The food is thaaaaaat nice. Its gone within minutes.

On the other note, Sarah came Tanjong Pagar to meet me for lunch on Wed. Gan dong la, come all the way from Hougang.

Since she is here, so i suggested why not she go "Q" for muffins at Tanjong Pagar Market. Choc & Spice.
Have heard of it from alot of my friends that their muffins are very delicious. They are correct!!!!! Its very soft and spongy. Nice muffins!

I tried: Cheese, Banana Walnut, Chocolate Chip and Carrot and Walnut. I love the cheese and chocolate chip muffin! yummmmmy~

I have recovered!

The past few days had been the worst ordeal that I have went through for my whole 23 years of life. I had high fever of 40 degrees celcius since last Monday, 26/11.

I felt as if I was dying. My face was burning hot! You can see that its red, as though I have just finish suntanning.

I went to the doctor on Wed and she suspected that I may have kidney infection. I was scared out of my wits! It sounded so scary to me. I went for urine test but luckily its negative. *phew*

My taste buds were numb for the past few days. All I tasted was only medicine and white bread. The after taste was sucky and I can still imagine it lingering in my mouth now.


By Thur, I was still sick. I had to go for my last econs paper. I could not finish studying the night before and was worried. I dragged myself to school. While I was doing my paper, I felt like crying. I really think i suffered alot and kept asking God why do I deserve this at this crucial period. The more i think about it, the more i feel like crying. But i must control!! I dont want to be asked to leave the exam hall.
I pulled through the 2.5hrs paper.
I am the NEW GENERATION WONDERWOMEN.

After exam, Qn's bf (Ricky) came to fetch her, so i shun bian free ride back. Really thankful for that for i wont want to get squeezed in the bus and end up puking on other people.

Someone paid a surprise visit on Thurs night.

D24 came all the way from Tampines.
He fetched me to his house to take care of me.
He had been playing the role of "nurse" ever since.
Feeding me medicine, taking temperature and putting ice pack, all of these were his job.
He woke up every hour of the night to check on me to make sure I am ok.
He sacrifice his precious sleep to make sure I am ok.
In return, he looked like a panda when he goes work the next day.
Thank you ah ba.

My temperature is back to normal now. I am relieved that nothing has happened to me and I hope it will stay that way.
