Vicki's 21st Bday

Went ECP chalet to celebrate Vicki's 21st birthday.

I didnt know that they dont provide free shuttle bus service anymore until on the day itself when i asked Vicki. The chalet is no longer under Coasta Sands, its under some Island Resort. weird, isnt it supposed to be pull down by the end of this year? why they still change hands?

Anyways, the food was great! This is one of the better catered food that I have tasted. On the whole, her mini party was fun. She put in the effort to come up with a game (Bingo), and kept us entertained for an hour or so. Not only the game was fun, her uncle was equally funny. He and his loud voice, really have the potential to be a commander.

As usual, we camwhore ALOT. I think more than the birthday girl herself. =)

The sisters. The gong gong sisters I mean. They drove all the way to CHANGI AIRPORT instead of coming to ECP because they exit at the wrong exit. Its ok, no pain no learn. Now you know, see... so effective.

They are Zhen Hui, Zhimian and Peiling. The Psychology people. Peiling is my camp mate, she is uber funny! She is really my idol!!!!! Everytime i read her blog, it never fail to make me laugh~

Madness

We had our marketing presentation today.

Everything was smooth flowing. So smooth until we had doubts ourselves.

We were the 3rd group to present today, for the previous 2 groups, the tutor asked them questions during their Q&A session. But the tutor asked us none. Should we be happy that our presentation is so good that we had answered all his doubts or is our presentation too lousy that he don't know what questions to ask.

Anyway, my team mates are all optimists. We take it as a good sign.
We headed off to canteen 5 for our dinner. must celebrate ma. *qing gong yan* =)

p.s Sarah and I not only had Prawn Paste Chicken Rice, we shared a Durian Ice Kachang at Canteen 5. Then we had sudden craving for soya bean milk and tou hua. We went Geylang to eat AGAIN. damn jialatt!

I watched this:

The movie was excellent.
It was kind of different in a way because not a lot of movie depicts homosexuality in its content.
This movie was light and hilarious. Very "informative" too.

Worth watching!

Have a break.

Yeah!! Have a break from all the piling school work and projects.

For me, I love to eat to de-stress. That explains why I will grow fatter during exam period, whereas others lost weight like crazy.

I tried 2 other new kit kat flavours! And I love 'em!!!!



Orange and Chocolate Flavoured Kit Kat. Its refreshingly tasty. Abit on the bitter side. A very strong orange taste will linger after you have finished the chocolate. Not too bad.





Personally I prefer this more. It tasted more like milk than vanilla to me. Just the right sweetness. I LIKE!

Soup Restaurant.

Last Wednesday came an impromptu decision to have dinner outside.

Qing Ning suggested Soup Restaurant. I cant wait to go as Dav and QN has been telling me how nice the food is.

I truly was not disappointed!!!!!!!!! Fantastic, delicious and nutritious.



The first 12 customers will get a 15% discount off the total bill. Only applicable for ala carte menu. Of course with the "kia-su-ness" in Sarah, we managed to get the 15% discount.



Their old school menu. They looked as if they were made of recylced paper. Like those we used to make in our Primary school Science lesson.



Their signature dish, Samsui Chicken with Special Blended Ginger Sauce. It was fantastically delicious. I did not regret trying this! The chicken was tender and smooth, the ginger sauce was subtle. Its not the usual strong ginger-y and spicy smell that turns us off when we eat raw ginger.
The way its eaten is like Peiking Roast Duck.

You just take a piece of lettuce, put a slice of chicken and lots of ginger (personal preference) in it, wrap it up and its done!!!!!


The ginger sauce seem to be a secret weapon that was used to win many customer hearts over.
This sauce was so nice that its sold at the counter for $9 per bottle.




Their soup of the day was Old Cucumber with Pork Ribs. They have double boiled the soup for many hours. You can taste it in the soup itself. Its very "ru wei". No MSG added! We didnt feel thirsty after drinking it.



Kai Lan with Dan Gui. Rather normal dish. Nothing fantastic. I dont mean that its bad, but its just does not stand out.



Claypot Toufu. I would prefer the sauce to be much thicker. And they did not use the usual egg toufu for this. I would very much prefer egg toufu to this.




Its a good meal i would say. Will definitely go back again for its soup and chicken.
