Is that school or some mind-busting institution?

School has started and life has been rather listless for the past 2 weeks.
Tell you guys a big secret, I have 2 INTERESTING modules this semester! Great isnt it?!

They are HE202 Intermediate Macroeconomics and HE204A Introduction to Econometrics!

Wow!! if you have happen to have my uni friends' blogs, pls go read about how we love these modules and how we wished we were assigned to these 2 mods earlier.

The equations from econometrics were chicken feet! too simple till we cant even comprehend and we agreed unanimouly that this shouldnt be taught at uni level, its such a disgrace to learn all these SIMPLE equations!

The tons of writing for macroeconmics were too little to unleash our passion for macroecons. I think they should let us write more and introduce even more economics theory into it.

Oh ya, and 1 more thing. The STARS timetable planner was such a great help for timetable planning! All of us had gotten our ideal timetable. We were so grateful to STARS~

This is such a back dated post!
I have been procrastinating to post this. there are sooooo many pictures to edit. ahahah!

The camp was fun! tiring though.
Being in the main com takes up alot of my time and brain cells.
On top of that, because of some joker who decided to back out at the eleventh hour, i have to take over his work.
Nevertheless, i admit. I have learnt alot from this camp. alot alot alot.

1st day: Photohunt.
Poor freshies, they have to run all around the school like mad dogs, but bleah. too bad, all over us went through this for the camp. its a tradition. whaha!

I was selling my books on NTU's web portal.
I quoted $25 for my accounting text.
Then there was a reply from a funny man.. pls read on..


him: I wanna buy the MB101-Accounting book. Could u give me a more reasonable price? I'm really interested in that book. Thanks..

me: ok.. final price, $23?

him: Is it still like new one? Please, lower it again.. 20 pliz.. Thanx..

me: considered quite new. i m sorry. last price $23

him: the new one in Popular book store is just $25 u know.. And this is the used book, so it's ridiculous, right? lower please..

me: impossible. it cant be $25. are we refering to the same book? i bought it at $40. there shouldnt be such a drasctic drop. so $23 is my final price. yup.

him: how is it?

me: i m sorry.. $20 is really too low. $23 is my final n best price. =)

him: i've received other email from other person who is selling the same book, n his price is just $15 you know.. now, how bout it?

me: ok.. great! then why not u buy it from him. =)

him: i'll buy it from her, i'm just giving you final opportunity to sell it.. dont be so proud of urself!

me: i m nt proud, pls dont get me wrong. i m selling at a very good price.
there are always reasons why people set at that price. my book is new, tats why its
$23. i m glad that you can get that book at a price lower than what you offered me.

School has started

While I should be excited that school has started, I felt bored right after the 1st lecture.
I was blown off by my HE202 lec. Intermediate Macroecnomics.
Have long heard about this bloody tough module. Once again,my seniors were proven right. Its bloody damn tough. I cant even comprehend the 1st lecture.

Was totally lost. and the LT was super duper cold. I was shivering inside with an empty stomach. My stomach was rumbling so loudly that i think people that were 5 seats away from me can hear it.
*kidding*

An interesting point to note.
After studying in NTU for a year. It was the first time that i see sooooooo many people in school.
Walkways, canteens, lecture theatre etc etc.
I was at canteen B, Q-ing for food and the Q was soooooo long.
nevertheless, with so many more people in school. the probability of spoting handsome guys is higher. *hahah*
not for long. they will go into hiding soon, because they will think that 1st year stuff are too easy for them.
yeah yeah. handsome guys always think that they are smart.
not to sterotype. oops!

yup. so that about it.
1st week of school.

Woot. a saturday again. School is reopening soon.
I want to go sch, but i dont wanna study. Contradicting right.
I want to go sch to tease my professors, i love my profs, they are so cute.
WHAHAHAHAH

Anyway, Fiona suggested going MOS last wed.
I have been saying that i wanted to go club with her, but that was never realised until she came back from Aust a year later.
Morever she hasnt been to MOS, so we brought her there to look see look see.
Went with her poly cliques.
They are super high/enthu people. At least to me they were, or was it just me?


i broght Lorraine along. She just came back from Turkey.
