hey guys, I am currently rushing for a proposal for our FOC'06.

I so happened to be in charge of the beach games and war games.
care to give me some ideas?
You know, beach games from the Taiwan Variety show and all.
Who is a TV fanatic? Please give me some pointers.. ahahaha

And war games ah, is those games that are REALLY REALLY dirty,
with the mud and all.
Crawl in mud, roll in sand, swim in ketchup and flour and water that kind.
(think the NS people should have alot of wacky ideas on these)

Getting a degree?

After reading Jac's blog, alot of things went through my mind.
She mentioned about her uni life and how sucky her friend was and the usual working hard stuff....

Yes, i do agree with her. Why the hell are we studying so hard for?

Some people will just look at you *roll eye* and answer your question with that boring, outdated reply "Having a degree will get you far loh. Better job= better money = better life = more savings = retire early = die comfortably"

Can I say this?

This is nonsense.
Come on, there are lots of Ugrads out there. Do you think they are leading that kind of life? A poly grad gets $1.7k, a Ugrad gets about $2.035K.
See the difference?
Not to forget that expensive tuition loan that we borrowed from the bank.
We need to repay them the principle amt + the bloody high interest.
After working out the sums, its the uni grads who loose out.

Is it worth it?
I wonder.

Studying terribly hard, concered about that bloody A/B/C/D that will affect your GPA, that will ultimately affect your Honours Classification.

Why are we so bothered about that?
Because we wanna get good grades and show off?
Some of us are just not meant to be a Uni grad.
Getting a 3rd class will be no better off than a poly grad.
Then why are we wasting so much of our time and money and even health.

Some people get so stressed up that their eye bags are showing, they lost weight and looks like some zombie, some had pimples popping out. And some even cry their eyes out when they didnt get their ideal grade.

i just type whatever that comes to my mind.
ignore the grammatical errors and get the gist.

IS IT A CHOICE/ NECESSARY TO GET A DEGREE?

Daryl's Birthday..

Daryl's 21st, eh.. no. Its his 22nd birthday.
wah. tats fast. he very KS lo. People just had their 21st and he is 22nd.

Frankly speaking, his bday is actually quite pathetic. We didnt even get him a present, mainly due to:
1) noboday seem to be free to get him one;
2) everyone seem kinda broke;
3) it was a last min thing.

But in the end, we still met up. At Halo Bar-Ngee Ann Clubhouse!
I have finally step into that place, not a mountain tortoise anymore.
Anyway, we paid for Daryl's expenses, kinda like a gift for him.

Busy Busy

Alright, i managed to climb out from my pile of books.
I am drowned inside.

My combination this sem is really power.
Intermediate Micro+Accounting+Stats = MATHS!
yes, all maths.
especially micro, now we have to interpret from the equation and derive the graph. dying soon liao.
Formulas, formulas and more formulas............

Oh ya. I am also taking Cyber Security this sem too.
This lecturer is super funny. He makes the dry module erm.. less dry.. ahahha
He was explaining to us about firewall, then he drew this:

I cant stop laughing at it. He is really entertaining.
I even drew it on my IT -idiot friend's lecture notes. She will definitely remember this for life!

Still got 1 more, this is in an exam.
Qn: What kind of attacks are there online? (i dont remember the exact quest)

Raining Heavily

Grrrrrrrr... Its raining cats and dogs right now.
The weather has been very wet, raining practically every single day.

School has started, the competition has began.
Nope, not competition between friends for good results, its the competition between time and me.
Tutorials are coming in, lecture notes are stacking up, my brain is overwhelmed by all sorts of knowledge and mathematical formulas.
Coping fine, all thanks to the public holidays in Jan.

got into accounting

After much huha, i managed to get into accounting.

I feel excited and happy, but i dont know why.
Most prob is because i bu fu qi that i have gotten a terrible timetable and at least getting into Accounting is what i have planned long long time ago.
So its like i cant get that, i must get this that kind of mentality.

Anyways, after being happy for one-tenth of a millisecond, I saw the lecture notes, assignment and the supplementry notes. hmmm............. okok.

Had my 1st stats lecture today, still ok.
Simple mean,mode,median got chim chim formulas.. dont understand why. ahaha.
Mayb its because we get more complicated data next time, i dont noe.

yeah. a brand new year. a brand new start. not a very good start for me though.
ok, i know i have been grumbling about my timetable. yada yada yada........

but its a way of venting out your unhappiniess isnt it?
better than cropping it up and let it suffocate me and i die earlier.

Fancy staying home on New Year's Eve while everyone is out partying! *woot*

well, to correct me on this, ahem.. its a matter of CHOICE alright.
we CHOOSE not to go out and squeeze with the others and worrying how to get home after all the partying unless, we were going out with people who drives.
