Today is one of those days whereby i can go home slightly eariler. There are alot of follow ups to do and things are messy.
Claud juz joined our team as a fulfillment officer, she is supposed to do all the follow ups for us.

Relly tired. Wonder how long do i need to adjust to this life style
Anyway, i m not going into the office tmr.
Having training tmr at one of the HSBC branch at Orchard.

I totally hate the working world.
Isnt it better if we can study for LIFE? be a ful-time student for LIFE?

Anyway, i am juz not used to it. Time is all i need.
Saw this very very very pretty/sweet girl in my office. I think she is the same age as me. This is her vocational job, she's in SMU. haiz! how i wish i were her...

Job at HSBC-Call Centre is boring as @ 23-Jun-04. I have either nothing to do or doing some kind of stupid stuff like pasting stickers!

BUT...

I think my life's gonna chage tmr. Heard from lynette (team leader) that the group is having training tmr and i m supposed to join in so i know what is the group doing.

My feet hurts! wore a very bad shoe yesterday. i had 2 blisters, darn! bought a new pair of shoes after work yesterday, onli with a little heels, but my feet still hurts!

What ugly and broad feet i have, can i change that? will Extreme Makeover come to Singapore? heheheheheh..

I cant wear heels, even though the new pair of slip in has very very short heels, my feet still cant take it and i have ANOTHER blister on the other part of my feet!!

Accompied fen and chao to Toa Payoh HBD Hub to kay po.. hahaha.. the Home Team is having their careers fair there. they wanted to go there to take a look.

We took MRT to Toa Payoh of course.. its so far. haha. as i was going up the escalator, i saw this very pretty girl. She is really cute. she has got very very nice complexion, rosy rosy, big eyes. *drool*

Too bad, the prettier one covered her face with her hand. ahaha. They are non-identical twins. Cool! I think that twins are very cool. how can someone be so identical to u?

It was a pretty small fair, they have the Singapre Civil Defence Force, Singapore Poice Force, Singapore Police Coast Guards and the Singapore Prison Officers.

Saw some of fen's future collegues, they are really nice people, very friendly and humourous. ahahah. Vivian, a Warrant Officer did some explanation to us on th various equipments they used and some of their duties. I feel so safe living in Singapore, they have got very up-to-date equipments to keep us protected and plans roll out to serve the community better.

phew.. i have not been blogging for the past week or so. Nothing much happen in my life, everything is pretty much the same. hehe

Yesterday morning, lifen n chao accompanied me to Kelly Services to look for Flora, an agent. I kinda got to know Flora through Hua, coz she is Hua's agent. I asked Flora to help me look out for any jobs that are suitable for me. She called up the next day to tell me there is actually a position in HSBC as an admin officer, so i said ok.. i would like to give it a try! and yeah people..I GOT THE JOB!! ehehehe

I have mixed feelings about the job, happy because i finally found a job and stop living off my parents.. heheh..
On the other hand means i have to start paying back my Dad's CPF for my tiertiary education. *sigh*
its high time to save up man. ahahahah
anyway......

yeah, then i accompanied fen to SCDF HQ, she finally signed on the papers.She is officially part of the SCDF family--paramedics! happy for her. it has always been her dream to be a paramedic, its like a dream come true ya!

and chao, she is now waiting for the medical checkup, afterwhich, if she passes the test, she is in SPF! its another dream-come-true example! ahahha
so happy for them coz they get to do what they really want to do.

So we rewarded ourselves to good food!

We went Geylang to eat the famous Lorong 9 Beef Hor Fun! *yummy yummy* its very delicious! the beef is so tender that you would think that its fish. You wouldnt even know that its Beef. It doesnt look and taste like beef!

After te main course, its time for desserts.. and we had Yong He you tiao (dough fritters) and dou hua (bean curd).
I agree with chao, i think their bean curd is not as nice as before, their standard dropped. Syrup too sweet, fritters too cold and hard.
What a disappoitment!

Went back to Jurong Point. Was passing by Toys'R'Us, chao wanted to buy the hamtaro toy. She has been eyeing on that for quite sometime. Fen suggested that we buy for each other, as a gift to celebrate that we got our first job.
I bought Bijou. A very cute female hamster! Chao bought a police hamster and fen bought a nurse hamster!

Birthday Celebration-- Steamboat@Congress

Met up with Chris,Deming n Anthony yesterday. Celebrated my belated birthday at Suntec City. The treated me to the steamboat @Congress. They are having some Thai Festival this week or so. We had Thai Steamboat. I opt for the Chicken Hearbal Soup instead of the Tom Yam soup, coz i am afraid that my stomach cant take it. The way they serve was very unique. Its not the ususal Big pot where everybody juz dump their food into. Everyone has an individual mini steamboat pot.

The food there was alright, nothing really special, except for the dessert mayb. They had the traditional sweet Thai dessert, so if u have a sweet tooth, u will love the dessert!!
The good thing is tat since its in Suntec, means there's air condition. We can eat comfortably. No sweating!!
I ate lotsa food, until i puke. I really went to the toilet and vomit my food out. eeks.. terrible terrible.

After dinner, we went to the Esplanade again.. hahaha.. it seems like i go Esplanade every year for my birthday huh.. ahahah

We stop by at one of the chocolate shop to say hi to Chris's friend.
They had unexpectly bought me a packet of chocolates. Oh my... i LOVE it. the chocolates they sell are so delicious and they are not cheap!! hehe..

Day@Pulau Tekong

hey people.. i woke up at 6.30am yesterday!
why why why??
coz i KPO lo.. accompanied hua to Tekong coz Jon (hua's bf) is going NS. ahahah.. i kpo wanna go look see look see and also to ACCOMPANY hua.. (rite hua).

I saw Cixian at the SAF jetty. He is in the same company as Jon. Didnt expect to see him there. have not seen him for a couple of years. he has not changed a bit man! okok.. mayb except for his hair style.

The first thing we did when we arrive Tekong was to take a tour of the place. wa.. the bunks there not as bad as wat we think. i think their beds looks more comfy than mine. n the bunks are quite clean and new. except for the toilets, they look kinda dirty.. ahahaha.

then they showed us some of the food rations. wa.. they have very very "nice" food huh. like chicken dumpling, pasta, curry rice etc. BUT all in vacuum packets!

then was the oath-taking session where they are promoted from civilians to recruits.. hahaha..

Then was lunch with them. The food they serve was quite good. Its quite tasty, but only that the portion is quite big.

*Supper with Putt & Desmond*

Finally.. finally get to meet them. We have been arranging for this meet up for ages. All of us were busy. We couldnt find a common time slot where everybody is available. ahahha.. all thanx to Desmond, he is getting enlisted tomorrow, so we better be hurry. So somebody (i dont know who) suggested having suppper together since all of us cant make it in the day.

Initially they wanted to go Tamn Jurong Food Centre, coz they say the food they was nice, ermmm.. i beg to differ. The other time i went there with chao's classmates, i think it wasnt really that fabulous. So Desmond suggested to go to the Cheese Prata store that near NUS instead. Good Good Goood.. very well i have not been there before and i have always wanted to try.

I had 1 plain prata, 1 cheese prata and teh-tarak, all 4 of us shared Chicken Murtabak. Oh my goodness. who have been praising that the prata there was nice? I think its worst than the one i had at Al-ameen (opposite Beauty World). The prata they serve at Prata House was not appealing at all. Its colour was so pale as though its not cooked, and it taste the way it looks!!

Anyway i managed to stuff all the food down. They suggested going to West Coast Park since we are just round the corner and to enjoy some wind.

I have always wanted to go West Coast Park but i am juz plain lazy. From wat i know i think there is no bus service that stops right outside the park, am i correct??

Wow. West Coast Park is fantastic, it has lots of fun fun station that we can play. I tried the flying fox look-alike thingy. It somehow works the same, so instead of being harness to the harness, you sit on the teeny weeny rubber thingy and slide forward.

We were perspiring like mad. So they suggested that we climb up that stupid thingy coz its more windy up there. I am scared, i m afaid that i will fall off.. ahahha.. but i managed to overcome my fears and climbed up that "netty pyramid". ermmm.. its not a least bit windy at all up there. duh.....

We went to the beach instead. the sand was so fine and soft.though it wasnt windy, but i am contented that we met up. Those 2 guys are really funny. Chao hui n i really enjoyed their company. They are always so hilarious, making us laugh.

We went to sing ktv at cine. weird right, i ususally dont go to this kind of place but i went yesterday. was quite reluctant initially, but hey i had fun. ahahha. went to "celebrate" for daryl coz he's going tekong today! ahaha.. this afternoon.

Chalet (23th-25th May 04)

hey this is the last "official" chalet. after this, all of us will be going separate ways. Guys will be serving their National Servie while some of the gals will be working, some studying. We will all be engaged in different kind of activities and it might be a little tough to gather all to come together again.

Anyway, the "last" chalet was fun. we had booked 2 rooms instead of the usual 1 room. we wanted to sleep comfortably and since there's a promotion going on for NTUC club memebers we might as well sieze this opprtunity.haha

The check in time was supposed to be 2.30pm. i had borrowed the NTUC card from chao thinking that it was the right card. but.... no no no. chao's card was a NTUC policy card, its different.. duh.. luckily Dennis managed to get one somewhere else we hace to fork out an additional of 200 bucks!! oops.. sorry guys for the "blurness" hehe!
anyway, met up with hua at JP then went down to fetch jin yi coz he wasnt driving and he has all the food and tidbits. someone has to help him...

By the time we arrived it was already 4 plus, michelle and kwan lin taught me how to play this new card game which was interesting. we played on for a couple of hours, then we had dinner. We didnt have the usual BBQ or take aways from McDonald's. we cooked on our own. i brought the stove, Jin Yi brought his pan and kenny brought his steamboat pot. silly of us right, but it was fun.
